As the Executive Director of Curacao Investment and Promotion Agency (CINEX), since August 2014, Mr. Koffijberg can proudly look back at a great number of achievements for Curacao. Together with his team, his main focus is to constantly attract and assist foreign investors and entrepreneurs through their process of investing and setting up their business on the island. CINEX also promotes the export of local products and services to boost the economic development of Curacao internationally.

Let’s have a look how his journey started. With his broad education and work experience achieved in the USA and The Netherlands, through various financial and commercial business development positions, in 2012 he was ready to return back to his beautiful island. The first step within his process of contributing to Curacao, was when he became the Commercial / Strategic Account & Channels Director of Curacao Technology Exchange. After extensive travelling, network building, business development, especially the development of the Global market for CTEX, he knew he was ready to take it a step further. Instead of only focusing on technology exchange, now he has the possibility to promote all different opportunities Curacao has to offer through CINEX. Because we as a team strongly believe Curacao is THE FDI Destination of the Caribbean.
