Collin specializes in researching and analyzing economic factors which may affect business development. By investigating a host of elements, such as assets, demographics, and market trends, he helps clients identify their strengths and weaknesses and develop tailored strengths for capturing investment opportunities and mitigating threats. He also helps corporate clients throughout their site selection and location strategy process.
Prior to joining Investment Consulting Associates (now Conway) in 2016, Collin acted as Office Manager for Pensacola Co:Lab, a business incubator designed to help start-up companies survive critical stages of growth. He streamlined business operations, creating entry and exit protocols, applicant evaluation forms, and new fee structures. While manager, Collin had a significant hand in increasing Co:Lab occupancy from 78% to 86%.
Collin has conducted relocation feasibility analysis and multi-million-dollar site selection projects for corporate clients, focusing on demographic and workforce strengths to meet company needs. Such projects include site selection work for manufacturing sites (automotive & food), corporate headquarters and R&D space, as well as data centers. He also has experience conducting economic development analysis & strategy, consulting public entities such as the Florida Ports Council, State of Maine, NYCEDC, and City of Edmonton on how to leverage assets and strengths towards development goals.
